Why the structure matters
The organization structure gives Alignis the map it needs for staff placement, team responsibilities, unit leadership, and performance allocation. The best structure mirrors how the organization actually works, not just how it appears on paper.
How to create a useful structure
Keep names short, recognizable, and consistent. Use descriptions only when they help another administrator understand the purpose of the unit.
- Confirm the organization name, logo, and contact details before inviting staff.
- Start with the highest-level departments or directorates.
- Add child units under the correct parent.
- Use stable codes if your organization already has official unit codes.
- Avoid duplicate names under the same parent unless your organization intentionally uses them.
- Place staff after the structure is saved.
After a structure change
Review staff placement, unit leadership, and allocation coverage. Existing records should remain understandable, while new records should follow the updated structure.
